**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Fashion Designing**
- Require fashion designers for Women, Ethnic & kids wear. Finding, choosing and buying suitable fabrics and accessories. planning the sizes and making up of garments. working with pattern graders to size pre-production garments and advising cutters and machinists on making up samples.
- Manage the design process from conception through to final styling.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques, and seek design inspiration.
- Collaborate with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to the line, and create new concepts.
- Ensure that products are in agreement with business strategy.
- Select fabrics and trims.
- Create production sketches for development packages.
- Collaborate with technical designers to ensure development packages are accurate.
- Review products for style and fit during presentations.
- Present story, mood, color boards, and samples to buyers.

**Qualification**
- Bachelors degree in design or fine arts, or college degree in fashion design or a related field.
- 5+ years of design experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator.
- Availability to travel for research and product development.
- Ability to create sketches by hand.
- Excellent design and conceptual skills.
- Excellent sense of style and color.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines.

**Skills**
- Sketching designs.
- Selecting fabrics and embellishments and sourcing suppliers.
- Sewing and creating physical pieces.
- Hosting model fittings and making necessary alterations.
- Communicating with clients
- Marketing designs.
- Promoting designs to creative directors and merchandisers.
- Overseeing production.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- total work: 1 year (preferred)
- Fashion design: 1 year (preferred)
