DevOps Intern

We are seeking a talented and motivated **DevOps Engineer
- Intern** to join our team. As a DevOps Intern, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the infrastructure and tooling necessary to support our development and deployment processes. You will work closely with software developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, leveraging AWS/Azure/GCP services to ensure scalability, availability, and security.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to gain visibility into system health and performance.
- Implement and improve security measures to protect data and systems, including access controls and vulnerability management.
- Maintain and improve configuration management processes and tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, or Ansible) to ensure consistency and manageability of infrastructure.
- Continuously explore and evaluate new technologies, tools, and practices to improve our DevOps processes and capabilities.

**Skill Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hands-on experience with cloud services (compute, storage, networking, etc.).
- Familiarity in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and infrastructure-as-code tasks.
- Experience with configuration management tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and infrastructure automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS Code pipeline or similar).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack) and their configuration.
- Knowledge and experience on AWS Lambda, DynamoDB and CDK is good to have.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and their use in release management, branching, merging, and integration strategies
- Proficient in Code Quality, Test Automation Tools e.g. SonarQube, and Selenium, and embedding them into Continuous Integration Pipelines.
- Having experience working on some of the DevOps tools such as Github, Maven, NPM, Docker, Nagios or Zabbix
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Work closely with key stakeholders to capture, analyze, and derive DevOps requirements.
- Knowledge of and desire to work in an Agile development environment
- Should have the motivation to learn new technologies in the IOT and Cloud domain.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.

**Desired Skills**:

- Proficiency in cloud platforms, infrastructure as code (IaC), and containerization (e.g., AWS, Terraform, Docker).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, monitoring/logging, scripting, and networking/security.

**Additional Information**:

- A **fixed monthly stipend** will be provided.
- The **internship duration** will be **3 to 4 months** (maximum).
- **A full-time DevOps Engineer role** may be offered based on **performance during the internship**.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
