Turner(Lathe Machine Operator)

**Duties and responsibilities / Key Result Areas**

**1. Machine Setup and Operation**:

- Set up lathe machines by installing and adjusting tools, fixtures, and attachments.
- Load raw materials into the machine and adjust settings for optimal performance.
- Operate the machine to produce parts according to specifications in mínimal time period.

**2. Quality Control**:

- Monitor the machining process and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure they meet design specifications and tolerances.
- Identify and troubleshoot defects or deviations from specifications.

**3. Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Perform routine maintenance on lathe machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Report any major maintenance or repair needs to the authority.

**4. Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

**5. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and maintenance activities.
- Complete production reports and logs as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and authorities regarding production status and any issues.

**6. Continuous Improvement**:

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.

**7. Physical Requirements**:

- Prolonged periods of standing and operating machinery.
- He should handle material (Inward and outward) whenever required.

**8. Work Environment**:

- Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
- May require Extra time or shift work depending on production demands.
- Vehicle and Vehicle driving license is essential

**Qualifications**

Experience required: 3-5 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in machining or a related field is

preferred.
- Proven experience as a Turner or Machine Operator, specifically with lathe machines.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of CNC programming and operation is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Other characteristics such as personal characteristics: Good written & verbal

communication skills. Excellent Presentation skills and the readiness to improve these

skills as required.
- Proficient in MS Office and maintaining records
- Experience: 3~5 Years
- Relevant exposure to technology and current affairs.

**Working conditions**

Will be based out of Pune office but should be prepared for travel to Customer locations pan India when required.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
