**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
- **Curriculum Planning and Implementation**: Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans based on the school's curriculum framework and incorporating best practices in music education. This may include various musical genres, theory, and performance.
- **Teaching and Instruction**: Deliver lessons in a creative and interactive manner, utilizing a variety of teaching methods such as singing, playing instruments (if applicable), music theory instruction, listening exercises, and group performances. Cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- **Vocal and/or Instrumental Instruction (as applicable)**: Provide instruction in vocal techniques, instrumental playing (if the teacher has expertise), or both, depending on the school's music program.
- **Music Theory and History**: Teach basic music theory concepts, including rhythm, melody, harmony, and notation. Introduce students to the history of music and different musical styles.
- **Performance Preparation**: Prepare students for musical performances, concerts, and school events. This may involve rehearsing with students, selecting appropriate music, and arranging performances.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**: Regularly assess student progress through performances, assignments, quizzes, and projects. Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding their performance.
- **Classroom Management**: Create and maintain a well-organized and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively and promote positive social interactions among students.
- **Parent Communication**: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents through regular communication, parent-teacher meetings, and workshops. Share updates on classroom activities and student progress.
- **Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. 1 Participate in school events and professional development activities.
- **Resource Management**: Utilize and manage classroom resources effectively, including musical instruments, sheet music, audio-visual equipment, and technology.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Relevant Degree in Music (e.g., Bachelor of Music, Master of Music) is essential.
**Experience**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Music Teacher in a recognized school or institution.
**Skills and Competencies**:
- Strong musical skills and knowledge.
- Proficiency in singing and/or playing a musical instrument (specify if required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Ability to assess and document student progress.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
- Basic computer skills.
**Salary**:
INR 25,000 - 30,000 per month. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and other relevant information.
- **Adherence to Policies**: Adhere to the school's policies and procedures regarding curriculum, assessment, student discipline, and parent communication.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
