**Job Title: Mechanical Fitter**

A Mechanical Fitter is responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical machinery and equipment. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, using hand and power tools, and ensuring that machinery operates efficiently and safely.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assemble and fit mechanical components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot machinery and mechanical systems.
- Maintain and repair mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
- Use tools such as drills, grinders, and lathes for fabrication and repairs.
- Align and adjust machinery parts for optimal performance.
- Adhere to safety standards and perform risk assessments on equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers and other maintenance staff to resolve mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Trade qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical fitting or relevant field.
- Proven experience as a mechanical fitter or in a similar mechanical maintenance role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Teamwork skills.

**Work Environment**:

- Industrial, manufacturing, mining, construction, or workshop settings.
- May require working in confined spaces or at heights.
- Possible shift work or overtime depending on project demands.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
