**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the school library.
- Organize, catalog, and maintain books, journals, and digital resources.
- Assist students and teachers in locating and using library materials effectively.
- Develop and implement library policies and systems.
- Promote a reading culture through reading programs, book fairs, and related activities.
- Maintain an organized and welcoming library environment.
- Manage the library budget and coordinate with vendors for procurement of resources.
- Maintain accurate records of borrowed and returned materials.
- Ensure regular updates to the library inventory and database.
- Collaborate with teachers to support classroom learning with relevant resources.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science (B.Lib / M.Lib).
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a librarian in a school or educational institution (CBSE experience preferred).
- Familiarity with library management software and digital library systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local language (Kannada) is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
