**Responsibilities**:
1. Prepare the appropriate legal document for trial or court proceedings.

2. Represent the company in legal proceedings before administrative / tribunals/appellants - judicial agencies and follow-up on all cases.

3. Handle litigation (writ, civil & criminal arbitration cases) related matters to both Domestic

4. Coordinate with the company’s external counsel and liaise with them.

5. LO needs to consult various sources and prepare policy papers.

6. LO may be required to deal with lawyers and other law personnel to discuss the case.

7. LO is required to prepare various legal reports on the cases handled.

8. Draft and review legal documents: The Law Officer is responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as contracts, leases, and other agreements. This includes researching, drafting, and negotiating language to ensure that the organization is protected and that all necessary clauses are included.

1. Graduate in Law with a Minimum of 8 yrs of experience of which at least 3 yrs in corporate exposure

2. Good communication and computer skills.

3. Strong team player with Strong interpersonal skills.

4. Preference would be given to those who live in Coimbatore or are willing to relocate.
