**BOM- JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job description**

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for reviewing Bills of Materials and maintaining existing Bills of Materials in software.
- Create, modify, and maintain accurate and consistent multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Responsible for complete accuracy of the Bills of Materials.
- Responsible for building and handling all change control processes required for BOM accuracy.
- Responsible for becoming fully competent in using the Bill of Materials maintenance and reports.
- Work with Department Managers, Sales, Designers, purchasing teams to ensure that the BOM has the correct structure as well as the correct components and quantities
- Understand cost impact of changing BOMs and Items as well as impact on production use, inventory values
- Analyse all BOM and routing change requests to ensure that each level of the multi-level BOM is changed in accordance with the requested change and ensure that the change request is necessary.
- Perform special cost analysis, prepare reports, and other related duties as assigned.
- Engage with Designers, Purchasing, Sales teams to resolve issues.
- Drawing study, and fulfil required technical & finishes detail.
- Kick-off meeting with Drawing & Production team for required items.
- Minimize last minute emergencies.
- Making BOM with cost effective planning and as well as quality of the product.
- Systematic purchase system for Project.
- On time cost analysis for projects / Items.
- Inventory control and cost reduction.
- Waste reduction, best possible optimization of raw material.
- Well versed with superior quality furniture making hardware and finishes.
- Regular follow-ups with Production floor to ensure material is being use as per planning taken in the BOM.
- Setting up annual material plan and managing the entire sourcing operations with a view to achieve business
- objectives while ensuring bottom line profitability. Formulating budgets and developing operational strategies for
- Costing of Product and finalize the MRP for product.
- To work for maintain and improvement the quality of product.
- Supervision specified test conditions for each material item. Follow-up testing for export.
- Leading R & D efforts of company from its inception to develop a range of advance technology Product.
- Practical knowledge of Navision all works related to BOM, Assembly orders.

**Qualifications/Requirements (required)**
- Bachelor's/PG degree required
- Strong work tenure: 5 to 10 years of experience with bill of materials (BOMs) in furniture or Interior designing industry.
- Must have analytical and planning skills sufficient to determine resources and time required to complete projects.
- Must be able to work under pressure and respond accurately to requests in a timely manner.
- Ability to use a calculator to correctly add cost of packaged items
- Must be from Architecture and interior designing industry
- **Technical Skills**
Designing software - AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in software namely, MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, Lotus Notes, E-mails & Networking.
- Cutting Optimizer.

**Salary**: ₹600,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
