**Department-** Data Analytics & Facilitation - CDS GBS

**The Position**:
Associate medical coding professional will be accountable for:

- Perform ATC coding on concomitant medications with multiple ATC (Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical code) codes based on project/trial requirements. Collaborate with medical specialists and the trial squad on ATC coding requirements for the trial/project. Assist with manual ATC coding, as per trial requirements. Coordinate with Clinical Trial Data Manager/Medical Specialist for ATC reclassification codes. Update the codes in TMS and communicate on task completion.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external coding procedures by coordinating with Senior/ Medical Coding Professional and Global Safety and maintain contact with relevant external organizations.
- Provide confirmation to the trial team regarding the coding status and report on the status of coding for clinical trials. Verify that all terms are coded on the trial at key milestones.

**Qualifications**:

- M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Life Science or comparable degree in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, veterinary science or clinical information management or equivalent qualifications.
- 0-2 years of experience within Pharma industry or Development. Preferably knowledge of Medical Coding dictionaries with experience in project management.
- Good knowledge of ICH GCP and drug development.
- Demonstrated computer skills (MS Office, MS Project, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to plan well and handle complex tasks simultaneously and independently.
- Analytical and result oriented.
- Good team player with communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive and resilient to changes.

Data Analytics & Facilitation - CDS GBS supports the global DM community with their key clinical trial DM deliverables along with ensuring that the generated eCRFs are timely archived and submission ready. Our skill types include Medical Coding, eCRF Archival & Submission readiness, System interfaces and facilitating trial data report. Our DM Process & Innovation specialists drive the DM process improvement initiatives and development of DM competencies including support during audits and inspections.
