**Main Purpose**:

- Execute end-to-end product design for new digital products, processes, and reports.
- Research, brainstorm, conceptualize and design powerful, effective, and digitally enabled user-centered solutions.
- Act as an advocate for the end user in all product design decisions
- Develop and implement design standards and best practices for digital product development to ensure consistency.

**Accountabilities**:

- Conduct current state assessments on existing processes and activities through interviews, time activity analyses, process observations, and surveys
- Craft user stories and customer journeys to identify pain points and digitization opportunities
- Develop and communicate future state product design vision to business stakeholders and developers/engineers through sketches, wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes, explain design decisions to senior leadership
- Build business case to estimate potential value realization from digitization opportunities
- Partner with Engineers and Developers to ensure digital product meets intended designs and organizational standards
- Translate user testing insights and feedback into actionable solutions as part of iterative design process
- Monitor digital products and maintenance requests; evaluate products in use by business stakeholders and track KPIs and metrics to determine the success of specific design decisions
- Document design decisions and methods to develop a comprehensive digital product design playbook

**Qualifications/Requirements**:
**Key Skills/Experience Required**
- 14-18 years overall experience; 6+ years of professional experience developing and designing digital products and tools
- Ability to understand business requirements, define product features and design end-to-end digital user experiences, balancing business needs with simple, intuitive, and engaging user-centered solutions
- Experience with design hand-off to Developers and Engineers through detailed documentation and specifications
- Solid grasp of design principles, user-centered design, design thinking, lean / agile best practices and tools
- Knowledge of the latest UI/UX standards, trends and tools
- Prior experience and involvement in digital transformation preferred

- Possess deep user empathy, obsessive about user experience, and passionate about resolving user pain points through design
- Analytical and creative problem-solver with ability to simplify complex problems
