**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Instructional Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver engaging, effective, and challenging mathematics lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional resources to cater to different learning styles.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in advance.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and fosters student engagement.
- **Student Assessment**:

- Design, administer, and grade assignments, tests, and exams to evaluate students' understanding and mastery of mathematical concepts.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their performance.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and report to parents and school administration as required.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Participate in the development, review, and enhancement of the mathematics curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and continuity in the mathematics program across grade levels.
- **Professional Development**:

- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with the latest educational trends and best practices in mathematics education.
- Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions as required.
- **Extracurricular Activities**:

- Contribute to the school's extracurricular programs by coaching math clubs, organizing math competitions, or participating in other related activities.
- **Communication and Collaboration**:

- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and school initiatives.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events.

**Qualifications**:

- A Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the senior secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the mathematics curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with online or blended learning environments.
- Familiarity with advanced placement or international mathematics programs.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to extracurricular activities.
