- PCB Designer in Hardware

- MON - FRI (5-DAY WORKING)

Job Responsibility:

- Develop PCB layouts for production designs using appropriate PCB technologies
- Proficient with the use of PCB designer tools (Altium, OR CAD)), BOM generation
- Working with component engineers / library team for symbols and footprints
- Ability to assist with board bring up, basic engineering analysis and troubleshooting electrical problems is an advantage
- Create and maintain component and footprint libraries in Altium/OR Cad
- Develop PCB layouts for production designs using appropriate PCB technologies.
- Conduct schematic level circuit simulation for continuous improvement of designs
- PCB designing to meet EMI/EMC requirements laid down by hardware designers & customers.
- Create and maintain component and footprint libraries in Altium/OR Cad
- DFM of PCB designs with production & QA teams
- Conduct schematic level circuit simulation for continuous improvement of designs
- CFT member in DFMEA exercises
- Doing calculation for power dissipation to ensure correct placement of components

Key Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronic / Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive electronics R&D
- Must have detailed electronic component knowledge.
- Proficient in PCB designing tools (Altium, OR CAD).
- Exposure to RF PCB layouts
- Knowledge of routing for various communication protocols like CAN/LIN/I2C/SPI etc..
- Experience with 2 or more layers PCB layout design involving fine pitch packages and high-speed communications (placement and routing using Altium is preferred)
- Experience with high voltage and high current PCB design
- Experience with thermal, signal integrity and power integrity analysis using CAD tools
