**Job description**
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Develop New Territories**: Identify, explore, and establish business opportunities in untapped markets, expanding the company's reach and brand presence.
- **Lead and Build a Team**: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, setting clear targets and driving performance to achieve regional and national sales goals.
- **Client Acquisition**: Leverage your local market knowledge, industry connections, and personal network to acquire new clients, expand the customer base, and introduce new products or services to prospects.
- **Sales Strategy Execution**: Develop and implement comprehensive field sales strategies tailored to regional dynamics, focusing on revenue generation and growth in assigned territories.
- **Customer Engagement**: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular meetings, calls, and follow-ups. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through exceptional service and proactive communication.
- **Market Analysis**: Conduct regular market research to assess local trends, competitive offerings, and emerging customer needs, using insights to adjust sales strategies and position the brand effectively.
- **Achieve Targets**: Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets, using a combination of relationship-building, field prospecting, and strategic initiatives.
- **Reporting**: Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, team performance, and client interactions in CRM tools, providing actionable insights and progress updates to senior management.
- **Field Sales Execution**: Regularly visit client sites and potential prospects, engaging directly with decision-makers to present solutions, address challenges, and close sales in face-to-face meetings.
- **Client Meetings & Consultations**: Schedule and conduct regular in-person or virtual client meetings to understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and ensure ongoing alignment with client goals.
- **Attend Events and Expos**: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and expos to network with potential clients, stay updated on market trends, and promote the brand in the competitive landscape. Participate in product demonstrations, workshops, and panel discussions to showcase expertise and attract new business.
- **Networking & Lead Generation**: Leverage events, conferences, and expos to generate leads, build relationships with key industry stakeholders, and stay ahead of the competition by understanding evolving industry trends.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in field sales, with a strong track record of achieving targets.
- **Local market knowledge and experience** in Ahmedabad or surrounding areas.
- Ability to **recruit, lead, and manage a sales team** effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong business acumen and a proactive, self-motivated attitude.
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territories.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
