**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sales and Business Development**:

- Identify and target new business opportunities within the research and laboratory chemicals market.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and their needs.
- Generate leads, follow up on sales inquiries, and conduct sales presentations.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including research institutions, laboratories, universities, and other relevant organizations.
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions and recommendations.
- Address customer queries and concerns promptly and effectively.
- **Product Knowledge and Demonstrations**:

- Provide product demonstrations and technical support to customers.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and advancements in research and laboratory chemicals.
- **Sales Reporting and Documentation**:

- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions using CRM software.
- Track and report on sales metrics and performance indicators.
- **Negotiation and Closing**:

- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with customers.
- Close sales agreements and achieve sales targets.
- Ensure timely follow-up on pending deals and opportunities.
- **Collaboration and Coordination**:

- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to achieve business objectives.
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer insights and market feedback.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven sales experience in the research and laboratory chemicals sector or a similar field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
