**Job Description: Mechanized Cleaning and Housekeeping Works**
- _Project Location: Grant Road to Cuffe Parade Metro Stations (08 Stations), Aqua Line-3, Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL)_

**Position Title**:

- _Housekeeping & Mechanized Cleaning Staff_

**Work Location**:

- _All 08 stations between Grant Road - Cuffe Parade (Aqua Line-3, MMRCL)_

**Job Type**:

- _Full-time / Contract-based (as per project requirement)_

**Key Responsibilities**:

- 1._ __Station Cleaning & Housekeeping_
- __Perform daily mechanised cleaning of station premises, including concourse, platforms, ticketing areas, escalators, lifts, and staircases._
- _ __Maintain high standards of hygiene in waiting areas, washrooms, offices, and passenger zones._
- __Ensure dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing of floors, walls, and ceilings as per schedule._
- _2._ __Mechanised Equipment Handling_
- _ __Operate and maintain modern cleaning equipment such as ride-on scrubber dryers, high-pressure jet machines, vacuum cleaners, sweepers, and polishing machines._
- _ __Report breakdowns, malfunctions, or maintenance needs of cleaning equipment._
- _3._ __Waste Management_
- _ __Ensure collection, segregation, and disposal of waste as per MMRCL’s waste management guidelines._
- _ __Empty dustbins at regular intervals and maintain cleanliness in public areas._
- _4._ __Public Area Sanitation_
- _ __Maintain clean and odor-free washrooms with adequate supplies of consumables (tissue, soap, sanitizers, etc.)._
- _ __Periodic deep cleaning of washrooms, drinking water points, and staff restrooms._
- _5._ __Safety & Compliance_
- _ __Follow safety protocols while performing cleaning activities inside metro stations._
- _ __Use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as gloves, masks, and uniforms at all times._
- _ __Adhere to MMRCL housekeeping standards and ensure compliance with environmental and health guidelines._
- _6._ __Team & Shift Work_
- _ __Work in rotational shifts (24x7 operations) to ensure round-the-clock station cleanliness._
- _ __Coordinate with station staff, supervisors, and MMRCL authorities for smooth functioning._

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- __Minimum 5th Pass or equivalent._
- _ __Experience in mechanized cleaning / facility management / metro or airport housekeeping preferred._
- _Ability to operate and maintain cleaning machines and equipment._
- _ __Basic knowledge of safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices._
- _ __Physically fit to perform cleaning duties across large station areas._

**Skills Required**:

- __Familiarity with mechanized cleaning processes and tools._
- _ __Good teamwork and communication skills._
- _ __Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness._
- _ __Willingness to work in rotational shifts and weekends/holidays._

**Reporting To**:

- Housekeeping Supervisor / Station Facility Manager_
