**Job Description for Interior Designer**

**CDA is looking for Senior Interior Designers who are artistic, detail-oriented with good interpersonal skills to join our growing team.**

**Design Expertise**:

- **Conceptualization: Lead the conceptual development of interior design projects, understanding client needs, preferences, and project goals.**
- **Space Planning: Develop detailed space plans and layouts that optimize the use of space while adhering to building codes and accessibility standards.**
- **Material and Finish Selection: Choose appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that align with the design concept, budget, and functionality requirements.**
- **Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their feedback and adjusting designs accordingly.**
- **Budgeting and Estimation: Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and timelines, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints and deadlines.**
- **Coordination: Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of design plans.**
- **Site Supervision: Oversee the implementation of design plans during construction or renovation, ensuring quality and adherence to design specifications.**
- **Presentation Skills: Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and presentations to clients, effectively communicating design concepts and ideas.**

**Technical Proficiency**:

- **CAD and Design Software: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and design software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit) to create drawings, 3D models, and presentations.**
- **Knowledge of Building Codes: Stay updated with building codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to interior design projects.**

**In summary, a senior interior designer not only possesses strong creative skills and design expertise but also demonstrates leadership, project management, and client relationship management abilities to successfully oversee and execute interior design projects from conception to completion.**
