**Cloud FinOps Expert** **We are looking for a Cloud FinOps Expert to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team.** **Position Snapshot** - Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India - Type of Contract: Permanent - Grade: Band 2 - Type of work: Hybrid - Work Language: Fluent Business English **The Role** - We are seeking a talented Cloud FinOps Expert to join our Platform team, focusing on driving cloud financial management initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to optimize cloud spending and enhance financial transparency. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing cost management strategies, analyzing cloud usage data, and providing insights to improve resource allocation. The FinOps Expert will play a key role in aligning financial objectives with cloud initiatives, ensuring that financial practices support our overall platform goals. Strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of cloud economics, and proficiency in financial tools are essential for success in this position._ **In This Role, You Will**: - Monitor and analyze cloud spending to ensure that costs are aligned with budgetary constraints and operational needs. - Develop and manage budgets for cloud services and other financial operations, providing forecasts based on historical data and projected growth. - Create and present financial reports that detail spending trends, cost-saving opportunities, and budget variances to stakeholders. - Work closely with engineering, product, and finance teams to align financial goals with operational strategies and ensure effective resource allocation. - Identify and implement cost optimization strategies, such as rightsizing resources, utilizing reserved instances, or leveraging discounts. - Establish and enforce financial governance policies related to cloud usage, including guidelines for spending, resource allocation, and compliance. - Provide training and support to teams on financial best practices and the use of financial management tools, ensuring that all stakeholders understand their financial responsibilities. **What We’re Looking For**: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience. - Demonstrable experience working with multiple Cloud Providers on a FinOps role. - Good understanding in cloud costing. - Demonstrable experience implementing costing strategies and processes in the Cloud. - Demonstrable experience with cost reporting tools. - Ability to communicate effectively in English. **Extra Skills That Set You Apart**: - Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams. - Automation-centric mindset. - Strong communication skills. - Azure experience. **We offer you**: We offer more than just a job.
