Your Role and Responsibilities ? Provide leadership with functional and technical expertise standards and methodologies including architecture for hybrid cloud SaaS and on-premise solutions. ? Provide sizing estimates to project managers for project delivery and execution. ? Participate in detailed business requirements workshops document those requirements in a clearly articulated manner to establish detailed delivery objectives and responsibilities. ? Develop independent designs work closely with other designers from internal and external teams and guide them in building module designs for IBM Sterling OMS and ensuring all of the different modules are integrated and meet the desired customer requirements. ? Develop designs for various order fulfillment related modules (e.g. distributed order management store functionalities such as back room pick order pack order ship real time availability sourcing and scheduling release reverse logistics inventory management work orders transfer orders as inbound integrations with 3rd party systems (e.g. warehouse management systems pricing and tax engines payment systems fraud detection systems shipping systems). ? Perform code reviews of IBM Sterling OMS solutions in accordance with the development guidelines and product framework recommendations. ? Engage with clients to gather define and articulate business requirements via workshops and design sessions to develop a delivery plan for solutions leveraging solutions and offerings including Order Management and Fulfillment systems Supply Chain Intelligence systems Inventory Management systems Master Data systems legacy applications ecommerce Store/Point of Sale (POS) Call Center Warehouse Management Systems ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions etc. ? Provide functional and technical leadership in implementation of OMS solutions by working with relevant teams and client associates to plan best launch strategy ensuring architectural integrity across the systems involved. ? Recommend solutions considering future scope expansion scalability performance maintenance and usage. ? Partner with IBM Research and Product Management in adoption of new technologies and features in existing or future offerings. ? Work closely with sales and solution partners by proposing solutions demonstrating the technology helping respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for subsequent interactions/ discussions. Required Technical and Professional Expertise ? Overall 12-17 years of IT experience out of which around 10-12 years of Sterling OMS experience. ? 7-8 years of Order Management domain experience. ? Strong knowledge in value chain management (supply chain and demand chain) with emphasis on order fulfillment and order management. ? Experience with application development and system architecture design; working knowledge of Unix (Red Hat LINUX) Java and XML ? Experience working with IBM complementary products: IBM WebSphere JMS compliant queues (MSMQ WebLogic JMS) ? Experience working with product that touch IBM Sterling Order Management?s integrations points: CRM products ERP products EAI tools merchandising systems other WMS products point of sale products payment processing applications tax calculation packages shipping applications etc. ? Experience with object oriented programming languages such as Java. ? Deep knowledge of Java programming and related technologies ? Experience in XML XML parsers and XSLT. ? Experience working with Oracle DB2 and SQL Server databases: database sizing troubleshooting and performance tuning. ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills ? Strong knowledge of software product issues ? Experience managing relationships with clients at the senior technical management level ? Experience delivering enterprise solution implementations
