**Job Description: Safety Officer - ADIS Certified (Data Center Experience)**

**Location**: [Insert Location - e.g., Jaipur / PAN India]
**Experience**: 4 to 5 Years
**Industry**: Data Centers / IT Infrastructure / Mission-Critical Facilities
**Qualification**: ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) + Diploma / Degree in Engineering

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure **compliance with all safety regulations** and standards (Factories Act, NFPA, OSHA, IS codes, etc.) within the **data center environment.**:

- Conduct **routine safety inspections and risk assessments** across all critical infrastructure zones - including UPS rooms, battery banks, HVAC areas, electrical panels, etc.
- Oversee **fire safety systems** such as FM200/Novec 1230 gas suppression, VESDA systems, smoke detectors, fire alarms, extinguishers, and emergency exits.
- Implement and monitor **Permit to Work (PTW)** systems for high-risk activities including LOTO, hot work, confined space, and electrical isolations.
- Support **24/7 facility operations** by enforcing safety procedures and ensuring emergency preparedness at all times.
- Conduct **incident investigations**, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Deliver **toolbox talks, induction training, and monthly safety awareness programs** to employees, vendors, and contractors.
- Maintain **statutory compliance documentation** and liaise with external agencies during audits or inspections.
- Support the **implementation of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001** safety protocols as applicable to data center environments.
- Drive **behavior-based safety (BBS)** culture and encourage hazard reporting and proactive safety practices.

**Educational & Professional Qualifications**:

- Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Fire & Safety)
- **ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety)** - Mandatory
- NEBOSH IGC / IOSH Managing Safely - Preferred
- Certification or experience in **ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 27001** compliance - Advantageous

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of **critical infrastructure safety**, fire protection systems & electrical safety
- Familiarity with **data center operations and facility management protocols**:

- Incident investigation & RCA techniques (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in **high-availability, 24x7 mission-critical** environments
- Sound understanding of emergency response planning and drills

**Experience Required**:

- Minimum **4 to 5 years** in EHS roles, including **at least 2+ years in data center or critical facility** environments
- Proven track record of managing on-site safety in **live operational facilities**

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
