As a Logically fact-checker, you will be making a direct contribution to our mission to understand and combat mis and disinformation. Our fact-checkers research and write original, high-quality fact checks to strict editorial standards and tight deadlines for a mix of audiences, from the readers of our website to private and public sector clients. We also work closely with major social media companies to moderate misinformative content on their platforms. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of fact-checking initiatives, and to the development of our fact-checking technology and products.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- A bachelors degree in any arts, humanities or STEM field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong English language copy-writing skills
- A keen eye for detail
- The ability to grasp new and complicated information quickly
- A strong understanding of the political and media landscape in India.
- The ability to work well to tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to remain impartial and critical while writing on complex and sensitive topics.

**Desirable Skills and Experience**:

- Professional newsroom, fact-checking, or other editorial experience of one to four years
- Ability to read and understand a regional Indian language like Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kashmiri, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu
- Familiarity with fact-checking skills and techniques and/or Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques
- A masters degree in any arts, humanities, or STEM field
