Gold Appraiser

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess the purity and weight of gold items using various techniques and tools
- Determine the value of gold items based on current market conditions
- Provide accurate appraisals of gold items for loan purposes
- Maintain accurate records of appraisals and transactions
- Keep up-to-date with current market trends and changes in gold values
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and answer any questions related to gold valuation
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in metallurgy or a related field
- Professional certification in gold appraisal is preferred
- At least 2-3 years of experience in gold appraisal, preferably in a gold loan company or a related industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of various gold appraisal techniques and tools
- Familiarity with gold market trends and changes
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity

Working Conditions: This position is full-time, and the Gold Appraiser will be required to work regular business hours from Monday to Saturday. The Gold Appraiser may occasionally be required to work overtime or on weekends to meet business needs. The work environment is primarily indoors in an office setting, and the Gold Appraiser will be required to sit for extended periods and use various tools and equipment for gold appraisal.

**Salary**: ₹12,094.95 - ₹24,787.37 per month
