Fitter

Interpret structural drawings, plans, and specifications to determine rebar requirements for construction projects.

Measure, cut, bend, and shape rebars using manual tools or machinery, such as rebar cutters and benders, to meet design requirements.

Assemble and tie rebars together using wire, clips, or mechanical fasteners to create reinforcement grids or cages.

Install rebars within concrete forms or structures, ensuring proper alignment, spacing, and anchorage.

Coordinate with other construction workers, including concrete workers and formwork installers, to integrate rebar installations with overall construction activities.

Follow safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries during rebar fitting and installation.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly storing tools and materials when not in use.

Inspect and assess existing concrete structures for rebar repair or replacement as needed.

Collaborate with supervisors and project managers to ensure timely completion of rebar installation tasks.

Communicate effectively with team members, reporting progress, issues, and concerns as necessary.

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month

License/Certification:
