_**Job Summary**:_
- We are seeking a meticulous and technically proficient _**Quality Inspector**_ _with hands-on experience in the _**switchgear industry**_, specifically in _**MCB and RCCB**_ _products. The role involves monitoring the quality of incoming materials, in-process components, and final switchgear products to ensure compliance with industry standards such as _**IEC/IS standards**_, company specifications, and customer requirements._
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- _Conduct _**visual, dimensional, and functional inspections**_ _on MCB and RCCB components and finished products._
- _Verify compliance with _**technical drawings, specifications, and standards**_ _(e.g., IEC 60898, IEC 61008, IS 12640)._
- _Perform tests including _**tripping characteristics, insulation resistance, dielectric strength, mechanical endurance**_, etc._
- _Monitor and inspect assembly processes to identify potential defects or process non-conformities._
- _Maintain inspection reports, test records, and ensure traceability of inspected items._
- _Identify, document, and communicate _**non-conformities**_ _to relevant departments._
- _Assist in _**root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions**_ _(CAPA) for quality issues._
- _Calibrate and maintain inspection and testing equipment._
- _Support internal and external audits and certification processes._
- _Work closely with Production, R&D, and QA teams to improve product quality and reliability._
- **Qualifications and Skills**:_
- _**Diploma/Degree**_ _in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field._
- _Minimum _**6 months-1 year**_ _of relevant experience in _**switchgear quality inspection**_, especially MCB and RCCB._
- _Strong understanding of _**IEC/IS standards**_ _relevant to circuit breakers._
- _Proficiency in using inspection tools: micrometres, callipers, multi-meters, insulation testers, etc._
- _Experience with _**ISO 9001:2015**_ _quality management systems._
- _Knowledge of _**Lean manufacturing**_, _**5S**_, and _**Kaizen**_ _is a plus._
- _Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
