Acorn Marketing is a start-up located in Canada with clients in Canada and the United States providing marketing and web design.

You will need great English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Completing time-sensitive tasks assigned daily
- Ensuring weekly task responsibilities are completed
- Creating new WordPress websites from scratch on WordPress Divi Theme.
- Working with current WordPress installs to add new functionality and updates
- Cleaning up existing and old WordPress installs to bring them up to standards
- Maintaining WordPress websites, completing backups, updates, security fixes, caching problems, formatting and design fixes, and adding new content

Qualifications and Experience:

- Proficient in HTML and CSS
- Solid knowledge and experience in website development specifically WordPress
- Experience with using DIVI themes and is good with it
- Experience in PHP and JavaScript is a plus
- Strong eye for design, know how to use Photoshop/Illustrator
- A team player with an unquestionable integrity
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Understanding and experience of SEO fundamentals and execution (bonus but not required)
- Knowledge of onsite and offsite SEO (bonus but not necessary)
- Copywriting experience (bonus but not necessary)
- Good understanding of managing hosting for websites (bonus but not necessary)
