**Position Title: Purchase Executive**

**Location**: Kathwada GIDC, Ahmedabad

**Reports To**: Purchase Manager

**Qualification**: BE/B. Tech/M. Tech/ME (Mechanical/Production Engineering)

**Job Summary**:
The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the procurement process for materials and supplies necessary for manufacturing operations. This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials to meet production schedules.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. *Supplier Management**:

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.

**2. *Procurement Process**:

- Conduct market research to identify trends and sourcing opportunities.
- Create and manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder materials as necessary.

**3. *Cost Control**:

- Analyze costs and seek opportunities for cost reduction.
- Collaborate with finance to manage procurement budgets.

**4. *Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure that purchased materials meet quality standards and specifications.
- Work with quality control teams to resolve any quality issues with suppliers.

**5. *Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee the storage of materials.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste.

**6. *Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with production, engineering, and other departments to understand material needs.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support project initiatives.
- **Experience**: 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
**- Skills**:

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
