We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team as a Part-Time Hospital Administration Faculty member. This position involves teaching and mentoring students in hospital administration programs, providing valuable insights into the healthcare industry, and contributing to the academic excellence of our institution.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Teach courses in hospital administration, including healthcare management, healthcare policy, healthcare finance, and healthcare ethics, utilizing innovative and engaging teaching methodologies.
2. Develop and update course curriculum to ensure relevance and alignment with industry standards, emerging trends, and best practices.
3. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, drawing from your practical experience in hospital administration to enhance their learning and professional development.
4. Share real-world case studies, examples, and insights from your own experience to enrich the classroom learning experience.
5. Engage in scholarly activities, such as research, publications, and conference presentations, to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in hospital administration.
6. Collaborate with other faculty members and academic departments to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities and promote a holistic approach to healthcare education.
7. Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and professional development activities to contribute to the continuous improvement of the program and the institution.
8. Stay abreast of advancements, regulations, and trends in hospital administration and healthcare management, integrating new knowledge into your teaching and mentoring activities.
9. Assist in the recruitment and retention of students by participating in outreach events, informational sessions, and advising sessions.
10. Maintain regular communication with students, providing timely feedback on assignments, projects, and assessments, and offering academic and career guidance as needed.
**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in healthcare administration, public health, business administration, or a related field. A doctoral degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in hospital administration, healthcare management, or a related field.
3. Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level, preferably in hospital administration or a related field.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
5. Demonstrated commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and student success.
7. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
8. Flexibility to accommodate evening or weekend classes, as needed.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 2 - 4 per week
