Overview:
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Instruction and Classroom Management:

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Science and Maths for students in classes 1-8.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles.
- Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.

Curriculum Development:

- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards and the needs of students.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
- Integrate technology and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences.

Assessment and Evaluation:

- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, tests, assignments, and projects.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and report to parents and school administration as needed.

Student Support and Development:

- Identify and support students with special educational needs.
- Encourage and motivate students to achieve their full academic potential.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued.

Professional Development:

- Participate in professional development workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.

Communication and Collaboration:

- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and school administration.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- A teaching certification or diploma in education (B.Ed.) is preferred.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Science and Maths, preferably at the primary or upper primary level.
- Experience with CBSE or ICSE curriculum is an advantage.

- Strong knowledge of Science and Mathematics concepts.
- Excellent teaching and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
