- Suggest activities for language improvement at home.
- Develop and maintain an environment conducive to effective learning.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through tests, assignments, and examinations.
- Encourage students to participate in debates, essay writing, drama, and other English language activities.
- Maintain records of students’ academic performance and behaviour.
- Integrate modern teaching techniques such as smart classes and project-based learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic and behavioural performance.
- Attend staff meetings, training programs, and professional development workshops.
- Adhere to school policies, rules, and regulations.

**Qualifications Required**
- **Educational Qualification**:

- **B.A./M.A. in English** (mandatory)
- **B.Ed** (Bachelor of Education) - Required for teaching in CBSE schools
- CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) qualification is preferred

**Experience**:

- Prior CBSE school experience of 3 years to 5 years in teaching English is a must.
