**About the role**:
Sustainability is key business aspect which presents important risks and opportunities for organizations. Robust sustainability performance and responsible business practices are essential to long-term success of organizations, their product and services. **Reports To: Head - Sustainability and Supply chain**

**Primary Function**:

- Leading sustainability assignments across various sectors including Oil and Gas, steel, aluminum, cement industry etc.
- Assessment of Sustainability/Integrated reports based on various reporting frameworks like GRI, SASB, UNGC, DJSI/S&P, TCFD, CDP, BRSR etc.
- Assessment/Verification of client’s sustainability indicators involving environment (Scope 1, 2 and Scope 3 emissions), social and governance indicators.
- Review and assessment of client’s net Zero Targets or Science based Targets (SBTi), Carbon footprint, Product carbon footprint, Life cycle analysis.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Involvement in sustainability assignments across various sectors like Oil and Gas, steel, aluminum, cement industry etc.
- Carrying our independent assurance audits for clients Sustainability/Integrated reports (IR)/ESG reports based on various reporting frameworks like GRI, IR Framework etc.
- Involvement in independent assessment/verification of client’s sustainability indicators involving environment (Scope 1, 2 and Scope 3 emissions), social and governance indicators.
- Involvement in the execution of ESG Assurance projects including but not limited to limited /reasonable assurance of ESG disclosure, Green / Climate / Sustainable Bonds/Finance Assurance while ensuring a quality output.
- Involvement in review and assessment of client’s net Zero Targets or Science based Targets (SBTi) etc.
- Involvement in materiality assessments, impact assessments, review of stakeholder engagements
- Involvement in review of water balancing/Neutrality assessments for clients
- Involvement in waste management (plastic, solid waste, E-waste etc.) assessments/audits for various clients

**About you**:
**Essential requirements**:

- Total 6-7 years of experience with 3-4 years’ experience in core sustainability space.
- Education - Bachelor’s Degree in engineering.
- Understanding of ESG reporting frameworks, such as GRI, SASB, DJSI/S&P, CDP, BRSR, TCFD, UNPRI etc.
- Strong knowledge of existing and evolving ESG concepts and practices across sector/geographies.
- Demonstrate familiarity with ESG market in India and the region.
- Overall project leadership of complex projects, delivering on-time, on-budget and achieving high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Capable of work under pressure with strategic optimization. Maintain flexibility in work hours and work independently with mínimal supervision.
