Bartender

As a Bartender at Red Rhino, you will be responsible for serving a variety of craft beers, cocktails, and other beverages to guests in a fast-paced and friendly environment. You’ll ensure that all drinks are prepared to the highest standards and serve them with a welcoming attitude. The Bartender also plays a key role in creating a positive atmosphere at the bar, educating customers about our beer offerings, and providing excellent service that keeps guests coming back.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Serve Beverages**: Prepare and serve a wide variety of craft beers, cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to customers, ensuring that drinks are made to specification.
- **Customer Service**: Greet guests as they arrive at the bar, take drink orders, answer any questions about the beer selection, and engage customers with enthusiasm and knowledge.
- **Knowledge of Beer Selection**: Educate customers on different beer styles, brewery offerings, and new releases. Be familiar with the brewery’s tap list and able to suggest beers based on guest preferences.
- **Maintain Cleanliness**: Keep the bar area clean and organized, including countertops, shelves, and storage areas. Ensure that all glassware and bar tools are clean and ready for use.
- **Check IDs**: Verify the legal drinking age of guests before serving alcoholic beverages, adhering to all local and state regulations.
- **Handle Cash and Payments**: Process payments from customers, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment. Maintain accurate cash handling and provide proper change.
- **Restocking**: Regularly check and restock bar supplies, including beverages, garnishes, glassware, napkins, and cleaning products. Keep track of inventory and report any low stock to management.
- **Monitor Guest Consumption**: Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guests’ alcohol consumption and behavior. Offer water and non-alcoholic beverages as needed.
- **Support Other Staff**: Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and other bar staff to ensure seamless service and communication, especially during busy hours.
- **Special Events and Promotions**: Assist with events, tastings, and promotions at the brewery, ensuring guests have a great experience and that all logistics are handled.
- **Clean Up**: After each shift, help with the breakdown of the bar area and cleaning up, including washing glassware and utensils, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring the bar is ready for the next shift.
- **Maintain Health and Safety Standards**: Follow all safety and health regulations, including proper alcohol handling, sanitation practices, and ensuring that the bar area is free from hazards.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in a brewery, bar, or restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of craft beers, beer styles, and the brewing process is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for drink preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently with mínimal supervision.
- Must be of legal drinking age and comply with all local laws regarding alcohol service.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
