Title: Part-Time/Freelance Counselor

Location: Flexible/Remote

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Provide individual counseling sessions to students in class 10 and 12, focusing on academic guidance, career planning, and personal development.

2. Assist students in exploring educational pathways, understanding their strengths and interests, and making informed decisions about their academic and career goals.

3. Offer support and guidance to students facing academic challenges, stress, and other personal issues that may impact their performance and well-being.

4. Facilitate workshops and seminars on topics related to study skills, time management, exam preparation, and college admissions.

5. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to address student needs and promote a supportive learning environment.

6. Stay updated on educational trends, college admission requirements, and career opportunities to provide relevant and up-to-date information to students.

7. Utilize counseling techniques and interventions to empower students to develop resilience, problem
- solving skills, and positive coping strategies.

8. Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student progress, ensuring confidentiality and privacy are maintained at all times.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or related field.

2. 3-5 years of experience in counseling and guidance, with a focus on working with kids, particularly class 10 and 12 students.

3. Specialization in education counseling, with knowledge of academic planning, college admissions, and career exploration.

4. Experience in adult life counseling is an added advantage.

5. Strong interpersonal skills and empathy, with the ability to connect with students and build trusting relationships.

6. Excellent communication and listening skills, with the capacity to effectively convey information and provide support.

7. Familiarity with counseling techniques, assessment tools, and intervention strategies relevant to working with adolescents.

8. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and address emerging issues in education and youth development.
