CFD Lighting thermal simulation

Experience: 3-8 yrs

**Job Description**:

- Modeling and setup of simulation models
- Defining and verifying simulation parameters (material properties, environmental conditions, power input, thermal resistances)
- Performing simulation calculations and analyzing the results
- Validating simulation results by comparison with measurement data or experiments
- Optimizing product designs and processes using the simulation results
- Documenting the simulation processes and results in clear and comprehensive reports

**Education**:

- Degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, physics, or engineering sciences, or an equivalent qualification. Preferably with a focus on fluid mechanics and numerical simulation.

**Technical Knowledge and Skills**:

- Proficient in common simulation software, preferably Siemens STAR-CCM+. Good knowledge of CATIA V5.

**Practical Experience**:

- Several years of experience in conducting and evaluating thermal simulations in an industrial or research environment. Experience in validating simulation results through comparison with measurement data or experiments. Knowledge of optimizing product designs and processes using thermal simulations.

**Soft Skills**:

- Careful and precise work in the creation and evaluation of simulation models. Conscientiousness in documenting simulation processes and results.
- Good communication skills, teamwork, and willingness to cooperate.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving competence. Responsible, conscientious, systematic approach to complex problems, creative problem-solving.
- Ability to provide clear and comprehensive reporting.
