**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Language Instruction**: Design and deliver engaging and age-appropriate English language lessons that focus on developing students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- **Literacy Development**: Foster a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages students to explore and appreciate various forms of literature, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and drama.
- **Language Acquisition**: Implement strategies and activities to support English language acquisition among non-native speakers, including vocabulary development, grammar instruction, and language fluency exercises.
- **Reading Comprehension**: Facilitate reading comprehension activities and discussions to help students understand and interpret texts, analyze literary elements, and make connections to their own experiences and prior knowledge.
- **Writing Skills**: Guide students through the writing process, from brainstorming and drafting to revising and editing, to develop their ability to express themselves effectively through written communication.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**: Assess student progress and achievement through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, such as quizzes, tests, projects, and writing portfolios.
- **Individualized Support**: Provide additional support and remediation to students who require extra assistance in mastering English language skills, adapting instruction to meet their individual learning needs.
- **Parent Communication**: Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress, academic performance, and areas for improvement, and collaborate with them to support students' language development at home.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or qualification (e.g., B.Ed., TET).
- Previous teaching experience at the primary level preferred.
- Strong proficiency in English language and literacy instruction.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young learners.
