Scouto is an automotive tech start-up working in connected cars, ADAS, and autonomous vehicular technology, with its head office in Gurgaon, Haryana.

SCOUTO’S PRODUCT SUITE

We build a consumer-focussed Connected Car offering. We build the end-to-end technology (hardware, firmware, cloud, algorithms & even the front-end) in-house and are proud to be manufacturing it in India (we even manage the end-to-end supply chain ourselves).

- recently joined the Unicorn league of Indian startups. They raised $283 Mn Series E from Tiger Global & ADQ at a $1.8 Bn valuation. Furthering their brand vision -to help young Indians realize their dreams and aspirations
- they have associated with mega youth icons Sachin Tendulkar & PV Sindhu as their brand ambassadors.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Be a part of our journey of scaling from a fleet of 20,000 devices to 1,00,000 by the end of this year. We want you to design and develop services while leveraging native cloud services.
- Our current real-time and historic data pipelines are running on an event-based architecture. We would like you to make it even better.
- We deal with terabytes of data and we want it to be managed better. Whether we do it with traditional databases or we mix in HDFS along with AWS Glue is something we would like your input on.
- We have figured that the MongoDB and Redis combination works best for our ever-changing and constantly evolving product requirements. We want you to build services that can leverage our current infrastructure choices while also integrating new technologies that can lead to better results.
- Above all we want you to enjoy and grow as we grow our product together.

WHAT WILL ENABLE YOU TO DO IT
- Good understanding of Cloud with hands-on experience in building end-to-end software solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure. Expertise in data modeling, data designing, and persistence (e.g. warehousing, data marts, data lakes). Adaptability with multi-cloud architectures.
- Must have clear system design thinking, can automate, create reusable accelerators to help get the job done quicker and better, ability to independently execute complex, long-term projects.
- Cache
- DBS
- API engines
- Compute dayer
- Batch processors etc
- We heavily rely on MongoDB and Redis, so you need to have a good understanding of popular DBs (MongoDB, Postgres, Redis, etc).
