**Job Description for TGT Social Science (SST)**

**Position**: TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) - Social Science (SST)
**Role Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach topics in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics to help students understand and appreciate cultural, social, and economic perspectives.
- Develop students' analytical and critical thinking skills by encouraging discussions, debates, and projects.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and participation.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment.
- Create and utilize teaching aids, visual presentations, and other instructional materials to enhance learning.
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and any areas of concern.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Science or related field with B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent certification.
- Strong knowledge of History, Geography, Civics, and Economics.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and guiding students’ understanding of social and historical concepts.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
