**Role Purpose**

To provide support to the global payroll teams, TMF and the wider finance community in ensuring that global financial data, analysis and reporting are accurately reported and managed in an effective and efficient manner.

They manage the global payroll reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger journal processes for all legal entities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Co-ordinate, standardise and operate the monthly global journal process to ensure accuracy and timeliness across all entities
- Manage the month-end/year-end payroll reconciliation process working with Group Finance/SSC/Infosys as necessary
- Manage the reporting and analysis of the Payroll function, identifying trends/variances/anomalies/exceptions and taking appropriate actions
- Review reconciliations of Balance Sheet payroll accounts
- Support, identify and lead Process Improvement activity such that Payroll is correctly accounted for and that ByD is First Time Right.
- Provide payroll related reports to internal stakeholders as necessary
- Be the point of contact for the Finance teams globally when requesting payroll information
- Carry out any complex payroll analysis as requested by the Global Head of payroll/GPO
- Be the Administrator of the global payroll platform (Horizon)
- Support the Global Head of Payroll in any ad-hoc requests as necessary

**Technical / Professional Requirements**
- Qualified or studying accountant
- Knowledge of payroll processes and systems an advantage
- Highly numerate with an eye for detail.
- Good understanding of financial systems.
- Experience of consolidations, multi-currency, variance analysis good presentational and reporting skills.
- Be a key team player that actively engages and supports others.
- Must possess good communication skills and is able to tailor and structure communication to specific audience.
- Must be able to quickly spot flaws in data and come up with a range of solutions.
