Fire and Safety Trainner

The Fire and Safety Trainer is responsible for developing, implementing, and conducting fire safety training programs for employees. This role ensures that all personnel are well-versed in fire prevention, emergency response, and safety protocols. The trainer will also evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve safety standards across the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Training Development and Delivery**:
- Design and develop comprehensive fire and safety training programs tailored to the needs of the organization.
- Conduct regular fire safety training sessions, including fire drills, evacuation procedures, and proper use of fire safety equipment.
- Provide hands-on training for the use of fire extinguishers, fire hoses, and other emergency equipment.
- **Compliance and Safety Standards**:
- Ensure that all training programs comply with local, state, and federal fire safety regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest fire safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with fire safety standards.
- **Emergency Response Planning**:
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
- Coordinate with local fire departments and emergency services to ensure effective response in case of an emergency.
- Lead and participate in emergency response drills and simulations.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:
- Assess the effectiveness of fire and safety training programs through tests, drills, and feedback from participants.
- Identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to training content and delivery methods.
- Prepare detailed reports on training activities, compliance status, and recommendations for improvements.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of all training sessions, participant attendance, and certification status.
- Prepare and submit reports on fire safety training activities to the Health and Safety Manager.
- Document any incidents, near-misses, or safety violations and follow up with corrective actions.
- **Advisory and Support**:
- Provide expert advice and support to management and staff on fire safety issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.
- Promote a culture of safety within the organization through regular communication and awareness campaigns.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Fire Science, or a related field.
- Certified Fire Safety Trainer or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Minimum of [1] years of experience in fire safety training or a related role.
- In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations, emergency response procedures, and safety equipment.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using training software and tools.
**Working Conditions**:
- This position may require working in various environments, including office settings, industrial sites, and outdoor locations.
- Must be able to lift and carry training equipment and materials.
- May require occasional travel to different sites for training purposes.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
