**Job Description**:
A Laser Cutting Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of laser cutting machines to produce precision-cut components from various materials. This role involves following work orders, ensuring quality control, and maintaining the equipment to achieve production goals efficiently and accurately. The Laser Cutting Operator works within a manufacturing or fabrication environment and collaborates with team members to meet production targets while upholding safety and quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:
Machine Setup: Prepare and set up the laser cutting machine according to work orders, material specifications, and job requirements. Load raw materials onto the machine bed and ensure proper alignment.

Programming: Input or load pre-existing CNC programs into the machine's control system to guide the laser cutting process. Adjust settings such as speed, power, and focus to achieve accurate and efficient cuts.

Operation: Operate the laser cutting machine, monitoring the process to ensure consistent quality and accuracy. Detect and address any deviations, anomalies, or errors that may occur during operation.

Material Handling: Load and unload materials onto/from the machine, following safety protocols to prevent damage or injury. Properly store and organize processed materials and scrap.

Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for defects, ensuring they meet required specifications and tolerances. Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain quality standards.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on the laser cutting machine, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs. Coordinate with maintenance personnel for more complex repairs and servicing.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper handling of materials and tools.

Collaboration: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and quality control personnel to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production processes. Communicate any challenges or issues that may arise.

**Skills**:

- Should have an experience of 2-5 years in operating of fibre laser cutting machine
- Should have deep knowledge of fibre laser cutting machine including changing nozzles protective lens etc.
- Should be able to select gases (O2, N2 air) as per the material to be cut
- Should be able to carry out preventive maintenance of the whole machine including driller, pallet changer, etc.
- Should be able to select & load appropriate parameters in Cypcut software as per different sheet thickness

Qualifications:

- Good computer and mathematical skills
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Previous experience as a laser cutting operator or similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and machine operation.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift and handle materials as required.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
