**8+ years experience as Oracle Database Administrator with Expertise in GoldenGate**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Oracle GoldenGate Administration**:

- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle GoldenGate for data replication, data integration, and data synchronization across heterogeneous systems.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning of Oracle GoldenGate components, including Extract, Replicat, Manager, and Data Pump.
- Implement and manage complex replication solutions such as active-active and active-passive setups.
- Configure and optimize GoldenGate for both real-time and batch data replication.
- Set up and manage Oracle GoldenGate in both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Setup and perform Database migrations using GoldenGate
- **Oracle Database Administration**:

- Provide expertise in core Oracle database administration, including database creation, backup and recovery, patch management, and upgrades.
- Perform database tuning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization, including understanding of execution plans and query optimization.
- Manage database security, user permissions, and implement disaster recovery strategies.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters), Data Guard, ASM (Automatic Storage Management), and RMAN (Recovery Manager).
- Ensure high availability and business continuity by implementing disaster recovery solutions.
- **Replication and Data Integration**:

- Oversee Oracle GoldenGate replication processes, monitoring real-time data flows, and ensuring zero data loss.
- Design and implement data migration strategies between Oracle and other database platforms using Oracle GoldenGate.
- **Collaboration and Stakeholder Management**:

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all Oracle GoldenGate and Oracle database processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in architecture reviews, ensuring that GoldenGate and Oracle databases are optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- **Monitoring and Automation**:

- Implement and configure monitoring solutions for GoldenGate and Oracle databases.
- Create automated processes for regular maintenance tasks, database backups, and GoldenGate data replication checks.
- Proactively identify potential risks to database and replication environments, ensuring that issues are resolved before they impact operations.
- **Incident Management and Troubleshooting**:

- Lead incident management for GoldenGate and Oracle-related issues, quickly identifying root causes and implementing fixes.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics for database and GoldenGate replication performance issues.
