**Role Description**:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Test Automation Specialist. The Test Automation Specialist will be responsible for test execution, test management, test cases, test strategy, and software testing. The Test Automation Specialist will collaborate with the software development team to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, identify and report issues, and suggest improvements to the testing process.

**Test Automation**:

- Execute automated tests to identify software defects and ensure the reliability and stability of the product.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and contribute to the creation of comprehensive test plans.

**Development in JavaScript**:

- Utilize strong JavaScript development skills to contribute to the creation and enhancement of the automation testing framework.
- Work closely with developers to understand the software architecture and design, ensuring effective test coverage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated test scripts and the test automation framework.

**Integration Testing**:

- Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Implement and execute end-to-end testing scenarios to ensure the seamless integration of different software components.

**Performance Testing**:

- Contribute to performance testing efforts by designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

Documentation:

- Document test cases, test results, and other relevant information to maintain comprehensive test documentation.
- Provide clear and detailed reports on test execution, defects, and overall test status.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript development.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and libraries such as Mocha, Jasmine, or Jest.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with other programming languages, such as Python or Java.
- Knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker).
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
