URGENT OPENING for Research chemist role.

location - Manesar, Gurgaon.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Performing multi-step synthesis of the target molecules or intermediates.
- Designing of synthetic routes for target molecules using newer and innovative synthetic methodologies
- Purification of compounds, e.g. via chromatography, crystallization etc.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable safety and regulatory requirements
- High quality scientific reading/writing
- Characterization of compounds/intermediates using spectral techniques such as, NMR, MS, IR, HPLC etc.
- Literature search through Scifinder
- User experience with ChemDraw, ISIS draw, MS Office.
- Documenting experiments in LNB and maintain the data.
- Maintenance and protection of intellectual property (Research schemes, journals, analytical data, material/product safety data sheets etc).
- Participating as appropriate in the human resources activities of the department

(staffing, training, performance management, and employee development).

Qualifications/Requirements/Skills:

- PhD/M.Sc. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry with 1-3 years relevant, hands-on experience in synthetic organic chemistry.
- Ability to work independently and flexibly and to adapt to changing priorities.
