**Job Title: Video Editor**

**Reports To**: Project Manager

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**

**Editing and Assembling**:Edit video footage into cohesive and engaging stories, ensuring the narrative flow is smooth and impactful.

**Post-Production**: Conduct colour correction, sound editing, and special effects integration to enhance the overall quality of the video.

**Collaboration**:Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality outputs.

**Review and Feedback**: Receive and implement feedback from team members and clients to make necessary revisions and improvements.

**File Management**: Organize and manage media assets and project files to ensure efficient workflow and retrieval.

**Software Proficiency**: Utilize industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, etc.

**Quality Control**: Ensure all videos meet technical specifications and quality standards for various platforms and formats.

**Content Creation**: Occasionally assist in creating motion graphics, animations, and other multimedia content as needed.

**Deadline Management**: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

**Experience**: Minimum of **1-2 years** of professional video editing experience. A strong portfolio showcasing previous work is required.

**Technical Skills**:Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and familiarity with motion graphics and compositing software (After Effects).

**Creative Skills**: Strong storytelling ability, sense of pacing, and visual aesthetics.

**Attention to Detail**: Excellent eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality.

**Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

**Problem-Solving**: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions under pressure.

**Adaptability**: Flexibility to work on various types of projects, including commercials, documentaries, corporate videos, and social media content.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Additional Skills: Knowledge of 3D animation, graphic design, and photography.
- Language Skills: English, Tamil
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in video editing and production.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹300,000.00 per year
