**Job Description: Youth Facilitator**

**Location: Meghalaya (Any District)**

**Reports to**: Project Officer

**Role Overview**:
The Youth Facilitator will play an important role in mobilising, mentoring, and supporting Changemakers to run a Public Initiative (PI) with young people. The PI will be experiential and youth-led, aimed at enhancing knowledge and capacity to take action, inspire community-level impact, and drive narrative-building and demand generation on Family Planning and Sexual and Reproductive Health (FP/SRH).

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Mobilise and select 6 young people (aged 16-22) from your community to take on roles of a Changemaker (CM).

2. Mentor CM pairs in mobilising and engaging 30 young people from their community

3. Support baseline and endline engagements for the participating youth.

4. Assist CMs in conducting PIs which includes but is not limited to mobilisation, implementation, and monitoring.

5. Provide ongoing mentorship for CMs in the 3 phases of the PI- Enabling phase, Action phase, as well as Buzz creation.

6. Compile and submit quarterly and annual reports, including attendance sheets, photos, impact stories, and more.

7. Facilitate monthly/fortnightly governance and learning processes with CMs

8. Attend governance meetings with the PRERANA partner’s team.

**Qualifications**:
1. Age between 22-32.

2. Based in the home state, with an eagerness to travel within and outside.

3. Passion for youth leadership and community development.

4. Experience in mentoring or facilitating youth groups.

5. Strong communication and organisational skills.

6. Fluency in local language and dialect is a must.

7. Ability to engage and motivate young people.

8. Knowledge of relevant theme is desirable.

Remuneration will be at par with market standards and will be based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: Up to ₹18,000.00 per month
