**Position Summary**:
As a sales and marketing Intern in an advertising agency, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to various aspects of the agency's business development efforts. You will work closely with the business development team to support their initiatives and help drive growth for the agency. This internship will provide you with valuable experience in the advertising industry and expose you to the strategies and tactics involved in attracting new clients and expanding existing relationships.

**Responsibilities**:

- Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Analyze data to identify opportunities for business growth and target audience segmentation.
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Assist in identifying and qualifying leads through various channels, including online research, social media platforms, industry events, and networking opportunities. Support the team in building a robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Proposal Development: Assist in the creation and preparation of proposals, pitch decks, and presentations for prospective clients. Collaborate with the creative and accounts teams to develop compelling and customized solutions that align with client objectives.
- Relationship Building: Support the team in nurturing relationships with existing clients and key industry contacts. Attend meetings and industry events to expand the agency's network and promote its services.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze the activities of competitors, including their campaigns, strategies, and industry partnerships. Provide insights and recommendations to the business development team.
- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining client databases, updating CRM systems, and organizing client-related documents. Help track and report on key business development metrics and KPIs.
- Collaboration and Learning: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including account managers, creative teams, and senior management, to gain exposure to different areas of the agency's operations. Actively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, or a related field. Enrollment in a relevant internship program or coursework is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate ideas clearly and present information effectively.
- Research and Analytical Skills: Strong research and analytical skills to gather and interpret market data. Proficiency in using research tools and databases is a plus.
- Self-Motivation: Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize tasks effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving and eagerness to learn.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work, including research, data analysis, and document preparation.
