Screenwriter

As a Screenwriter, you will be responsible for developing scripts for various projects, including films, television shows, and online videos. You will work closely with our creative team to bring compelling stories to life.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop engaging and original scripts for **YouTube & Social Media** long and short videos.
- Develop scripts that effectively communicate the organization's mission, values, and impact.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to brainstorm ideas and develop scripts
- Conduct research to ensure accuracy and authenticity in scripts
- Write clear, concise, and engaging scripts that resonate with the target audience.
- Meet deadlines and adhere to production schedules
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that scripts are produced according to specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in script writing.

**Responsibilities**:
Proven experience as a Screen writing, preferably in the nonprofit sector.

Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Strong research skills and the ability to gather information from reliable sources.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a screenwriter, with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent storytelling and creative writing skills
- Knowledge of screenplay formatting and structure
- Ability to work collaboratively and take direction
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Creative Writing, or related field (preferred)
