**Job Title: AVP Finance**
**Location: Bangalore / Chennai**
**Work Mode: Hybrid**
**Shift: Mid Shift (1pm-10pm / 2pm-11pm)**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure adherence to US GAAP accounting policies across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with business units to address US GAAP accounting issues arising from new products and significant transactions.
- Analyze new processes and systems to establish internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures to mitigate risks.
- Supervise accounting team in the creation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Review journal entries for compliance with US GAAP standards.
- Review account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
- Conduct additional financial analysis as required by the Chief Accounting Officer/Corporate Controller.
- Partner with onsite teams to fulfill GAAP audit requirements.
- Assist onsite teams in the preparation of 10Q and 10K filings.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Proven leadership and team handling skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Mortgage servicing or mortgage banking experience preferred.
**Education and Experience**:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with US GAAP in US domiciled public companies.
- Prior experience in mortgage servicing or banking would be advantageous.
