**Preschool Teacher**

**Location**: Haralur, Bangalore
**Reports To**: Preschool Coordinator / Director / Principal

**Job Type**: Full-time / Part-time
**Salary**: 12,000 to 20,000

**Job Summary**:
The Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young children (ages 2-5) can develop socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. This role involves planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, assessing child progress, and working collaboratively with families and staff to support each child’s growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that support early childhood development in accordance with the school’s curriculum.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Observe and assess children's behavior, interests, and developmental progress; maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with co-teachers, assistants, and the Preschool Coordinator to ensure consistency and quality in teaching.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress, behavior, and classroom activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom that complies with health and safety regulations.
- Encourage children’s independence, problem-solving, and social interaction through play-based learning.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops.
- Support children’s transitions in and out of the preschool setting.

**Qualifications**:

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Certification in Early Childhood Education (where required by state).
- At least 1-2 years of teaching experience in a preschool or early learning environment.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).

**Preferred Skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
- Experience with curriculum models such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or Creative Curriculum.
- Familiarity with classroom technology and early learning software.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
