What this job involves
The Occupancy Planner is an integral part of the Occupancy Planning team and will serve as liaison for the client real estate team for Occupancy planning activities and deliverables. As an analyst, you will support the Occupancy planning team in developing overarching strategies and occupancy planning to govern the portfolio.
Collaborate closely with the Space & Occupancy team to collect current utilization & future headcount data growth
Deliver input into and participate in the review meetings focusing on the real estate portfolio growth. Meaningfully contribute toward and lead, where required, calls and meetings with JLL colleagues and client focused around reviewing occupancy forecasts
Internal and client stakeholder engagement to collect occupancy forecast data. Act to resolve any identified data gap.
Collaborate with the business intelligence team to collate data into meaningful reporting to enable making portfolio recommendations and substantiate decisions
Identify opportunities for optimisation & cost saving in the client’s portfolio
Drive continuous improvement of data & reporting in line with client’s needs allowing for more efficient management of the portfolio
Coordinate regular portfolio review meetings, drive structured communication and manage action plans resulting from meetings

Ability to utilize software to support planning solutions and communicate ideas clearly with real estate team and lines of businesses:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint a must. Specifically: Microsoft Excel - Advanced
Microsoft Access - Intermediate
Microsoft Office VBA - Basic
Microsoft PowerPoint - Intermediate
Process improvement methodologies.
Project management methodologies to include knowledge of agile methodologies.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
A Bachelor’s degree is required preferable in Accounting, Finance, Business or experience with strategy and quantitative coursework along with at least 5+ years’ experience in real estate, preferably in occupancy analytics or occupancy planning
Independent, self-reliant and capable of leading the delivery of a critical business process with complex deliverables supplied within short timeframes
High analytical capabilities with strong knowledge of Excel, ability to digest large volumes of data to draw business conclusions
Strong understanding on current trends in corporate workplace
Very strong communication in English, written and verbal, and ability to handle senior experienced stakeholders
Strong project management skills, able to work to deadlines and under key milestones set by client
High level of customer service skills and professionalism required
