Self-Employed Women’s Association (SEWA) is a movement of women workers in the informal economy, working towards the economic empowerment and self-reliance of these workers. Over

50 years, 2.5 million women in India across 18 states have become members of this decentralized, grassroot movement.

SEWA Cooperative Federation, works to support women’s cooperatives & other women’s collective enterprises (WCEs), across sectors, enabling them to become viable, to innovate and to scale. Over 30 years, we have promoted 110+ women’s collectives, reaching 300,000 informal women workers, across several sectors : agriculture and allied activities, dairy, handicrafts, services, social security, finance and labour-based.

SEWA Saamarth is a private limited company, promoted by SEWA Cooperative Federation. The main purpose of SEWA Saamarth is to link informal women workers and their collective enterprises to the online & offline market, build the capacity of enterprise members & the board,conduct action research and support in effective branding & communication design.

**Our guiding principles**

SEWA Saamarth offers need based services to support and strengthen informal women worker’s collective enterprises, including SEWA & non-SEWA collective enterprises, women micro entrepreneurs, FPOs & SHGs, both nationally and internationally, with a goal of the enterprises achieving financial viability and self-reliance. This vision is captured in our logo as well, wherein all the women workers are seen as branches from the same tree, branching out to newer heights collectively, whilst staying strong together at the base. Dairy, Artisans, Services, Savings & Credit, Labour-based) to enable them to become sustainable businesses with the help of a panel of experts and experienced professionals.

**Qualification & **-Inte CA

**Experience**:

- Inter CA with minimum 2-3 year post qualification experience (except Articleship)

**Skills**:

- Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Taxation Knowledge
- Auditing & Assurance
- Compliance & regulatory knowledge
- Comfortable with English, Gujarati and Hindi language.

**Responsibilities**:

- Having experience of doing finalization of accounts
- One can handle banking work independently.
- Have basic plus advanced knowledge of Tally ERP.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word & Powerpoint presentation.
- Have knowledge of GST, TDS and Income Tax Law.
- Can handle internal audit with auditor independently.
