The Salon Inventory Manager is tasked with ensuring the efficient and effective management of all inventory-related activities within the salon. This includes monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, organizing inventory spaces, conducting audits, and implementing strategies to minimize waste and maximize profitability.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of all salon inventory, including products, equipment, and supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and anticipate inventory needs based on sales trends and upcoming promotions.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Implement inventory control measures to prevent shrinkage, loss, or theft.
- **Procurement**:

- Coordinate with suppliers to order necessary products and supplies in a timely manner.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to optimize cost-efficiency.
- Evaluate supplier performance and quality of products to ensure standards are met.
- Research new products and suppliers to expand product offerings and improve competitiveness.
- **Organization and Storage**:

- Establish and maintain organized storage areas for all inventory items.
- Label shelves and storage bins to facilitate easy identification and retrieval of items.
- Implement systems for rotating stock to prevent expired or obsolete products.
- Ensure that all inventory is stored securely and safely, following appropriate safety protocols.
- **Reporting and Analysis**:

- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock movement.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize ordering processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding inventory management strategies and opportunities for improvement.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with salon staff, including stylists, estheticians, and front desk personnel, to understand inventory needs and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and alignment of inventory management goals with overall business objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a salon or retail environment.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of beauty products, equipment, and industry trends is a plus.
